Koromaru the Shiba Inu

Post by nocoffei »

Last year, I figured that forums would be a fantastic way to write up the process start to finish of making a fursuit.

Here's the result of that... Lots of mucking around, good notes on dye sublimation, bad notes on CAD, mediocre notes on sizing heads for printing versus head size. https://furrycorner.boards.net/thread/931/koromaru

I never did write the final entry, for personal reasons; suffice to say that I finished the suit, and am looking to sell him... Eventually. Not in a rush.

That is so frickin' cool!!!!! I was just about to start messing around with fursuit eye making, already had some acrylics and PVC mesh added to my Amazon cart, and I'll definitely refer to this when I move to printing TPU headbases in the future.

I'll also make an account there, I didn't know that other furry forums existed :p Thanks for your hard work on documenting your fursuit making process!!

https://crittertime.fun is more active these days. Sadly the forum I posted that to originally is basically dying out.

Thanks for the kind words stranger. The sublimation advice definitely still holds up, I used my own notes last week to print some new mesh. I never did post detailed info on the profile I'm using for the sublimation printer; I'm happy to share details about that if you want.
