Soren System's intro!

Hello all! omggg I missed forums SO much 😭 Everything is instant messaging nowadays... so glad to be here!

We're Soren, a plural system currently residing in Washington state, USA! Our eventual goal is to move back to New England (preferably around Providence), where our home convention is. ANE is the best!

Fursuit making is only one of our many artistic hobbies, but we've made a few over the years... and we always seem to have a new one in progress. We don't do it professionally, and learn mainly from trial and error and our own experiments. So really, we just have fun with it!

Our most recent projects are: our barn owl Aki-rain, Ethiopian wolf Matsuri (she has a new iteration in the works that's an African painted dog), and red husky Aiken, who currently belongs to our partner.
(By the way, if there is an easy way to resize images with BBcode here, please let me know!)

Nice to meet you, Soren! I live in New England as well and have been attending ANE since 2019 :)

I love all the fursuits you've shown! I'm particularly drawn to the way you've done the paws. They feel very "anthro" if that makes sense: like how I'd imagine paws would look like if anthro critters were real, but executed in a way that matches the style of the rest of each suit. Seeing your barn owl suit made me very happy as I have loved owls since I was a kid :D

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future, welcome to the forum! Thanks for being here!

welcome to the forum soren! i am also a new england local, albeit a transplant haha, so ANE is my home con.

i absolutely adore the barn owl suit you shared, the use of fur lengths and the shapes on the footpaws (footclaws? hehe) are super visually appealing!

re:resizing with BBcode, it doesn't seem to be currently supported on the forum! for now i'd recommend using a F2U compression/resize tool for resizes. maybe JTAG can look into implementing this in the future!
