What fabric to use for lining a fursuit head?

Post by (Confused)Saturnclaw »

Hello, it’s Saturn.
Like the title says I would like to know what fabric to use for lining a head base. I have heard scuba knit and lycra are good but I have only used lycra and a non stretchy fabric in the past. What fabrics would you recommend to use?

i personally use neoprene from big z (Neoprene Scuba Techno Athletic Double Knit) in combination with spandex/lyrca for the neck from spandex world. i've also seen makers use a form of spacer mesh, but i can't give an opinion since i've never worked with it or worn it.

regardless of whatever liner material you use, i'd highly advise pre-washing and bleed testing to ensure it will not bleed onto the more visible parts of your fursuit.
